Since acquiring The Ample Gold Max property in 2007, Supreme Resources has been actively exploring the 5.8 sq km property for its high grade gold content.
NI 43-101 Report, by Dr. J.S. Getsinger, P.Geo, dated July 24, 2007, outlining the history of gold mining & exploration of mineralized zones and recommending further exploration work on the Ample–Goldmax Property, is on file. A copy of the full report can be found at www.sedar.ca.
The property straddles both sides of the Cayoosh Creek to the height of land, and extends along Cayoosh Creek for about 9 kms. Ample Gold Max is accessible by Highway 99 South, 8 kms west of Lillooet , BC , Canada .
Gold deposits are mesothermal, epigenetic, mother-lode style native gold-bearing quartz veins and gold in sulphide zones in deformed metamorphic rocks associated with thrust faulting.
In 2008-09 Supreme Resources initiated an exploration program to expand on more than $1 million of previous drilling, geological, and geochemical work done by Homestake Canada and others in the 1990s with the goal of further defining the anomalous Ample–Goldmax zone, only one of several prospective zones along a 3 km trend of mineralized gold-bearing quartz veins and sulphide zones related to the Cayoosh Creek Fault. Several other mineralized zones on the property, such as the locally rich Bonanza ridge zone, deserved new consideration as well.
In early 2009 Supreme Resources released the results of a 7 hole diamond drilling program where 5 out of the 7 holes returned gold mineralization and high grades up to 11.39 g/t (0.4 ounces gold).
In late 2010, Supreme Resources completed an aerial reconnaissance survey of the property and discovered a large new quartz vein and four (4) previously undiscovered adits. (See news February 17, 2011 New Quartz Vein and Adits Discovered)
Supreme Resources is currently conducting a Soil Geochemical Survey over the new area in the vicinity of the newly discovered quartz vein.
Supreme Resources will utilize the new data from the geochemical survey to establish new drill targets for an up coming spring 2011 drill program on the Ample Gold Max Property.
In 2011 Supreme plans to initiate a diamond drill program on The Ample Gold Max Property.
