The Ample-Goldmax Zone is the most promising area identified on the Property to date. Located in the eastern portion of the Ample claim, the zone is at least 200m wide, 200m down dip and open to the west and northeast. Gold mineralization occurs in:
- discontinuous quartz veins and stockwards proximal to the Cayoosh Creek fault,
- grayish green tuffs and mafic volcanics of the Bridge River Complex; and
- Cayoosh Assemblage mudstones.
Diorite dykes from 0.2m to 2m in width are associated with some of the mineralization. Highest gold grades occur in ribboned quartz veins, where native gold is accompanied by chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite, pyrite and rare pyrrhotite.
Gold grades range from trace to more than 2.0 ounces per tonne (66.34g/t) gold in quartz veins and drilling results included an 8.2m intersection grading 11.76g/t gold, as well as 4.5g/t gold over 7.2m, 9.5g/t gold over 1.5m and 3.9g/t gold over 5.0m.
